Claretian Publications

Following in Saint Anthony Claret’s footsteps, the Claretians continue to be active in publishing. They publish the award-winning magazine U.S. Catholic, which celebrates Catholic life and serves as a forum for lay Catholics. They also publish several award-winning newsletters, including Word One, on spirituality in action; Context, on the interaction of religion and culture by world-renowned church historian Martin E. Marty; and At Home with Our Faith for families who want to nurture spirituality.

Carrying out the Claretian preferential option for the Hispanic migrant community, Claretian Publications also has a Hispanic ministry resource center that (in addition to provide information on conventions, service opportunities and resources from other publishers) publishes the monthly bilingual bulletin Nuestra Parroquia, which provides valuable information for pastoral ministers in Hispanic parishes; El Momento Católico, a bilingual publication for the faith education of adults; and Amigos de Jesús, a catechetical lectionary-based program, with support pages for catechists and families. The annual bilingual vocations’ guide !OYE! is also published by this office.
